In such a globalised and interconnected world Britain will still be subject to international courts. Whether its the ECJ or a new court, the UK laws will (and should) be shaped by EU laws.

300.000 Brits have been moving to Spain in the past few decades assuming they could start a new life as European citizens. For those who have lived abroad for more than 15 years, Brexit is an imposition they could not even vote for. Spaniards living in Britain can get double nationality after 5 years of residence, but Brits living in Spain have to give up their British nationality first. It is not fair and Spain should change it and allow double nationaltiy!

Britain should not be punished, as it is very legitimate for the country to leave the EU. However, the rest of Europe is entitled to also want a brighter future once Britain exists the  Union. Europe should now get on with projects which Britain was blocking like a European army, and more political and economic integration.
